Jonathan Lys

Welcome to my personal website!

My name is Jonathan Lys and I am a first-year PhD student at IMT Atlantique in the BrAIn team. My research interests are in the fields of deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. I am particularly interested in multimodal, self-supervised learning, and generative models.

For a list of my projects, you can check out my GitHub profile, or my portfolio. My latest academic projects were:

  • An application based on the CLAP model for text-based sound retrieval and zero-shot sound classification.
  • A CV project based on VideoPose3D and Detectron2 to evaluate the quality of a working posture from a video.

My previous internship was hosted by the Criteo AI Lab where I trained large diffusion models to generate image backgrounds for advertising.
